My Journey to Help Others

The road to success is always under construction. My journey over my professional years has led me to living out my passion of helping others get what they want through business coaching. JPW Business Consulting LLC offers small business one-on-one coaching enhancing clients’ results through systems, tools, and people. Though my professional career has been focused within the real estate industry since 2004, my experience of building successful businesses translates beyond the industry of real estate. Here is a brief overview of my journey to-date.

Born in the Texas Hill Country

I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. My grandparents owned an antique shop in Wimberley, Texas (Jean's Antiques and Gifts), and my father owned a plumbing business under the names of Armadillo Plumbing and eventually Williams Plumbing. I graduated San Marcos High School, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts, and attended my first year of College at Texas State University. I served as a Found Father of BYX, Beta Upsilon Chi, a men's Christian fraternity, and met my to be wife, Laurie Townsend a camp counselor at Camp Balcones Springs in Marble Falls, Texas. My stomping grounds of Central Texas imprinted on who I was to become later in life. After a year at Southwest Texas State University, I transferred to Texas A&M University.

From Texas A&M University to Kingwood, Texas

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and in emphasis in Sport Management coupled with a minor in Business Administration, I set out into the world landing my first professional job as a Director with the Lake Houston Family YMCA in Kingwood, Texas. Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, after two years with the YMCA I pursued a calling of building a successful real estate business.

Built a Successful Sales Business with Keller Williams Realty Northeast

What attracted me to Keller Williams Realty was the systems, models, tools, training, and coaching offered to their real estate agents. I wanted to build a successful real estate practice, and Keller Williams Realty encouraged me to learn from others that were successful. The cross sharing of information, culture, and integrity of the leadership were also important in my initial decision to join Keller Williams Realty. At the age of 24, I made a life changing decision to take control of my own destiny and joined Keller Williams Northeast in Kingwood, Texas as a licensed salesperson.

Hired for a Leadership Role at KW Houston Memorial

After 6 years of building a successful real estate practice with Keller Williams Realty Northeast, I made the decision to pursue a leadership role within Keller Williams Realty. An Assistant Team Leader opportunity came available with the Keller Williams Houston Memorial office. Keller Williams Houston Memorial was one of the first offices franchised by Keller Williams Realty under majority ownership of Peggy Tuthill. Over the year and a half that I served at Keller Williams Houston Memorial, my role also expanded to include the role of Productivity Coach. The primary focus of my position was to coach agents into production, and to assist agents in achieving both their personal and financial goals. The Productivity Coaching Program grew to include 28 agents. At least 50% of the Productivity Coaching Program had at least one transaction while several had more.

Joined the Leadership Team at KW The Woodlands and Magnolia

In February 2012, I accepted an opportunity to lead one of the country’s flagship offices, Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia. In the capacity of Assistant Team Leader and Relocation Director, I co-lead an office of over 300 real estate agents including two business centers. Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia according to the Houston Business Journal is one of the largest and most productive offices in the Greater Houston, Texas area. KW The Woodlands and Magnolia is also one of the most profitable Keller Williams offices in the country and dominate The Woodlands real estate market with a commanding market share of over 17%.

Coming from a productivity coaching background with my former role at KW Memorial Houston, I made it my priority to bring Productivity Coaching to Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia. The opportunity came available in July 2013. Starting from the ground up, I have built the program in a short period of time to over 80 clients. It was a blessing to be able to give agents the opportunity to succeed in their businesses by helping them self discover and unlock their inner Realtor. During my time spent in the Assistant Team Leader and Productivity Coaching roles with KW The Woodlands and Magnolia, I played an integral role in growing the office to be recognized as the #4 Keller Williams Realty office in the World.

Coming Back Full Circle - Jeremy Williams Joins the Keller Williams Realty Northeast Leadership Team

In July 2014, I had the opportunity to come full circle back to Keller Williams Realty Northeast in Kingwood, Texas. As a Team Leader and Real Estate Productivity Coach, my focus was to grow the office and to more importantly grow the agents. I along with the leadership of Michael Clapp grew the office to 250 agents strong.

Hired as South Texas Regional Director for the United Home Group (a real estate expansion team)

In late April of 2017, I was approached by the largest, fastest growing real estate expansion team in the country, United Home Group led by Mega Agent, Cody Gibson. For a period of 6 months, I served in the role of South Texas Regional Director for UHG. During my time with United Home Group, I realized my passion in coaching and developing real estate agents to be their personal best. Following that passion and desire, I launched Real Estate Success Coaching offering new and experienced agent training and consulting to the agents of Keller Williams Realty Northeast.
